On Tuesday evening, the Woodstock Village Board of Trustees announced the parking fee increases residents and visitors can expect to see starting Jan. 16, 2026, when the new parking ordinance and fee changes go into effect.
Meter parking will increase from $1.00 to $1.50 per hour. Permit parking on Elm Street for six hours will be $70 per quarter for the calendar year, with free two-hour parking remaining. Library Street and Mechanic Street permit parking will be $285 per quarter, or $1140 for the entire year, and a construction permit will be $12 per day. Parking in front of the Woodstock post office will remain $0.25 for fifteen minutes.
