The Wasps girls varsity soccer team took home a win on Wednesday night, Sept. 10, over the tough Springfield Cosmos by a final score of 3-1.
The game, which got a late start due to bussing problems, saw the Wasps put up two first-half goals from junior Ava Rich and sophomore Hannah Lantiegne.
Springfield cut the lead to 2-1 in the second half, but a clutch goal by junior Julia Barry off of an an assist by senior Bonnie Kranz sealed the game for the Wasps.
Woodstock will look to continue this momentum next Thursday at Hartford.
