The 52nd annual Bridgewater Raft Race took place this past Saturday, May 2. The race is a a long-standing tradition for area residents in which all rafts must be homemade and self-propelled.
This year, 21 rafts entered the race, and Rob Capossela came out on top with a finishing time of 22:52. The race took place on the Ottauquechee River, starting at the Long Trail Brewery in Bridgewater and continuing on until the finish line at Ramunto’s Brick & Brew, nearly 3 miles downstream.
