The Lucy Mac 5K9 will take place on Sept. 13 at Ascutney Outdoors, celebrating 110 years of service and the mission of the Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society. Participants can select from a 5K trail run/walk or a one-mile option along the trails of Ascutney Mountain. Runners and walkers can participate solo or as a team. As always, dogs are welcome to join in. The registration fee is $30 for the 5K trail and $20 for the one-mile trail.
In honor of Lucy Mac’s 10th anniversary, every participant that raises at least $110 will receive a free 2025 5K9 t-shirt. All participants completing the 5K9 will receive a custom Lucy Mac 5K9 medal.
