Invitation to bid

The Pomfret Cemetery Commissioners are now accepting bids for summer.maintenance of the three (3) town cemeteries.

Hewittville – Howe Hill Road
Bunker Hill – Bunker Hill Road
Burns – LA Bounty Road

This will be a three (3) year contract with a quality review once a year. Bids including certificate of insurance and workman’s comp, may be sent to

The bids must be received into the town clerk’s office no later than 2:30 pm on Friday, April 26, 2024.Bids will be opened and awarded on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 10 am. A detail of all expected work can be obtained by contacting the town clerk at the above address, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8.30 to 2.30.

The cemetery commission reserves the right to accept/reject any/all bids.
