By the end of day on Friday, May 15, the Ottauquechee Pharmacy will be closed permanently. All prescriptions will be transferred to a pharmacy of the customer’s choice. Call the Rutland Pharmacy 802-775-2545 to have prescriptions transferred.
In a brief conversation with the Standard, Steve Hochberg, pharmacy employee, cited unforeseen economic circumstances and the nation-wide decline of independent pharmacies as a reason for the closure.
